REHOBOTH BEACH, DE, November 20, 2023 – Humane Animal Partners (formerly Delaware SPCA and Delaware Humane Association) is set to participate in Outloud Sports Rehoboth’s first ever Turkey Toss Benefit Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, November 25 from 11:30 – 6:00PM at Crooked Hammock Brewery in Lewes. Humane Animal Partners (HAP), a statewide animal welfare organization with adoption centers in Wilmington, Stanton/Christiana, and Rehoboth Beach, helps thousands of animals find safe and loving homes each year.
HAP will have adoptable dogs and puppies to meet-and-greet with guests. There will be 50/50 raffles, live music, games, and prizes for attendees. Teams can participate in the Cornhole Tournament socially or competitively. There will be prizes for best team shirts. Tickets are $25 with all proceeds donated to HAP. Those interested in participating should register in advance at outloudsports.com/Rehoboth.
Additionally, folks are encouraged to bring pet food for Humane Animal Partners pet food pantry. HAP’s Pet Food Pantry assists struggling community members by providing them with free dog and cat food. Pet food is available at HAP locations in Wilmington, Stanton/Christiana, and Rehoboth Beach. Adopters are encouraged to complete an adoption questionnaire prior to visiting to ensure HAP’s adoption coordinators are able to help make the best match possible for human and pet.
